Heyo from Montana

Hello all!

Just a short note here to say Happy Holidays and hope you’re doing really well.

It’s been a whirlwind year.  I’m looking forward to capping it off here in Montana with a sold-out concert tonight with the Billings Symphony, along with musical pals Tyler Duncan and Kyle Sanna.

Above, you can click to watch the JK Trio performing on A Prairie Home Companion back in October.  We had such a great time performing on the show, along with the stellar band/guest-hosts I’m With Her (to hear both trios collaborate on a tune by Swedish band Vasen, click here).

November was album mode, full-tilt.  By far the biggest project of the year for me has been to plan and record my next solo record. Comprised of nearly all-original music, and written to perform live as a band with buds/amazing musicians Simon Chrisman, Josh Pinkham, Nat Smith, and Quinn Bachand, the album led us toRotary Records for a week in November to record (with Tyler Duncan as producer).  There’s still a ton of work to do before release, but I’m so excited to share in 2016.

Also – the friendly elves at jeremykittel.com wanted me to pass on the message that shipping is, indeed, free on CDs from the shop, in case you’re still looking for a gift or two for friends and family (order by tonight for 1 CD, or by Monday for 2+, to receive before Xmas).
